Occupancy Policies
Deposit:
To confirm reservations, a one night minimum deposit is required and the remainder (if any) is charged upon arrival.Cancellations:
Cancellations must be received 14 days in advance of the reservation. For cancellations made less than 14 days before rental, unless the room(s) are re-rented, the deposit (or full payment) is forfeited. A $25 handling fee is charged (per room) if the deposit is returned. If necessary, the ownership will always reserve the right to refuse service and refund any deposits.
We reserve the right to upgrade.
Policies
We appreciate your choosing to stay at the Thornton House Bed and Breakfast. Many parts of this elegant house are entirely original -such as the wood floors- and we appreciate your help in keeping them from any damage. As part of your rental agreement, you agree that:
- You will be charged for any items broken, missing or damaged and for excessive room clean-up or carpet stains. Charges will be billed to you after the room has been fully inspected.
- No smoking inside.
- As many of our guests may be escaping their own children for a weekend respite, we only allow children over 12 at the B&B.
Before leaving:
- Close any open windows and turn off lights.
- Leave keys on the counter.
Check-in time: 3 p.m.
